To provide training opportunities for people eager to follow career paths related to the conservation of our natural heritage.

The first course at GameWays was presented in January 2016.  In the preceding years, detailed planning was done. Service providers were secured, relevant role players approached and the nature conservation and management course material carefully selected.  Since then GameWays has grown and successfully presented numerous courses in conservation and game ranch management, nature career guidance and anti-poaching.

GameWays is dedicated to providing training opportunities for people eager to follow career paths related to the conservation of our natural heritage. Many of them cannot afford the course fees or they do not have the means to provide the basic personal equipment that they will require during these courses.  For this reason, it was decided during 2018 to register GameWays as a non-profit company (NPC).  As a non-profit company, the GameWays fees are set to cover expenses only.

GameWays non-profit is, therefore, dependant on donations and sponsorships to continue with the specialized training it provides empowering individuals who will positively contribute to nature conservation, wildlife management and the protection of our natural assets.

GameWays NPC is a reliable and reputable company with high training standards.  This is underscored by their vision, which is to establish shared custodianship of our natural heritage through inspirational training.  GameWays NPC is willing to cooperate with like-minded institutions and individuals in this quest.

The GameWays-NPO Training facility is situated on a 2200 ha game ranch 60 km West from Lephalale in the Limpopo Province of South Africa.  It is in the heart of the Bushveld biome and ideally positioned amidst game ranches and game reserves to provide unparalleled theoretical and practical training for students.

The facility is a home away from home and has a warm and inviting atmosphere.  It consists of 2 lodges with adequate accommodation and amenities.  Male and female students are accommodated separately in 2 or 4 sleeper bedrooms.  It boasts 4 swimming pools, a large dining area, a kitchen, and an administrative block.  The airconditioned classroom can accommodate 24 students.

The facility provides for a wide array of training requirements that include a military specked obstacle course, a shooting range and helicopter landing pad.

Most plains and savannah game are present on the ranch and include buffalo, giraffe, blue wildebeest, most of the antelope species and the occasional leopard, cheetah and brown hyena.

Directions from Pretoria: Head north on the N1 to Pietersburg (Polokwane). Keep Lings at the Kranskop toll gate to Nylstroom (Modimolle). At the T-junction at the top of the bridge, Lings turns to Nylstroom. Drive straight through Nylstroom to Vaalwater. At Vaalwater you should ideally refuel. Drive straight through Vaalwater to Ellisras. (Do not turn RIGHT into Vaalwater and use the “new” Ellisras road.) At some point the road descends into a gorge with sharp turns, look for the sign that reads “Kuipersbult”. Turn Lings on the hilly road to Madupi Power Station. At the Madupi power station T-junction, Lings turns to Capricorn Pan. Capricorn pan is very small. (Be careful not to drive past Steenbokpan intersection. It's just a store.) Look for the GameWays signboard on the corner and turn right. Drive for about 700 meters. Until another GameWays sign on the Left. Turn Lings on ground path. Follow the dirt road for 7.5Km until the road ends at the GameWays gates. Use the gate on the Right and follow the road for 1.2Km to the GameWays Lodge.
